PART 2/5
Proficiency Number 2: Technological Advancements
For several centuries we have been trying to get to know the universe a little bit more. Since the time of Galileo Galilee; all the way to present day, we are searching for the greatest mysterious of the universe. But to help guide our way through all of this understanding, we need to look at the past and see what we have accomplished, as the world to help us find out what space is and everything in it. We have to find out how we found black holes and how we sent the first person into space. All of this is accomplished by space technological advancements. This was my proficiency:
Some of the most interesting facts that we learn in space always (maybe sometimes) should unlock more parts of the galaxy and the universe. To help understand our own world and everything around it. When NASA or any other space program extends their line of advancements like new technology and machines it will help us get more detail in what we need to know and what we want to find out. In the past we have discovered all the planets and the solar systems and also that our world was round, not a square. All the way back to the Romans and the Greeks we have been answering questions about space. It was a big topic back then and it is still now. Space amazes me in many forms and I want to find the inner secrets of the universe. It was a big leap in time when Galileo Galilee (I don't know how to spell his name but I think you know what I mean). The telescope was a big invention and changed the way we look into space for the rest of our lives. Over the years we have been upgrading the telescope and look what we finally have now, these giant telescopes the size of ten story houses that are towering over the hills and look into the most farthest place in the world. We can see the slightest most detail and we can solve all of those questions. Also that space is so beautiful and there so much to explore. The best part is that space never ends and that there are endless possibilities. So after the telescope, everyone came to the space shuttle which was the biggest hit of the year. Finally after all those years of work we finally see the first person in space. We see that the Russians have made a space shuttle and something similar to our present day Hubble Space telescope hovering over the sky. With these new satellites and space shuttles, we have a deeper knowledge of space and discovering all of these new planets and stars and all of these new things we discover in space every day. From our own earth, to the making of the universe all the way to the mysterious, invisible back holes. It was awesome and everyone was watching the news when the first person landed on the moon and that we have completed the task of our solar system to find out all of the planets and their great uniqueness and descriptions that make each one of them different. So all that new technology from the B.C. period all the way to present day in the year 2010 the world has been exploring the far reaches of the universe. Future advancements may include all these things we watch in the highly popular topic on science fiction and alien invasions. It has been a hot topic for years and people always wanted to know if their were any other outside life in this universe except for us. Or are we the only one in this universe. Science Fiction is my favorite genre, in movies and in books, there is so much to learn and see the people’s imagination how the future is going to look here on earth and out in space. The famous saga Star Wars is one of the greatest movies ever made, but also one of the greatest examples of science fiction outside in space and all of those aliens and extraterrestrial life. So what if these directors and authors and even the people that work in space think that this is the face of the future? Well, all that I could say is that if it is going to happened. It will be a big leap for mankind and we will explore deep into space like we have never done before. Maybe in the near future we will be driving flying cars or going into wormhole in the far universe to another dimension. Whatever it is, we will all have a better understanding of the universe and we will solve all of the problems and questions that come to us. This is how everything is going to help us have a better knowledge of how everything started

Part 5/5
Black Holes
Black holes. What are they? Where did they come from? Can we see them? Are they dangerous? All this will be explained in my last proficiency dealing with the deadliest object alive in our solar system, the black hole.
Black holes have been around for a long time and it was just recently that scientists have found out that they are out there invisible and sucking more and more cosmos as we wait and watch. Scientists have been very fond of black holes and wanted to find out all of their mysteries. Since the beginning they have been finding ways to find them and also to   get a good look at them, although they are invisible. They find black holes by using space technology and infrared systems to detect any stars moving rapidly fast around a another star. This lets scientists know because of the high gravity force and movement, there is a black hole nearby. Like I said before, you can’t see it with your eyes, so that’s how the scientists find them. Anyway back to black holes.
Black holes are basically a region in space where matter is so strong and dense that it creates a vacuum that sucks in anything in its gravitational pull, and I mean EVERYTHING. There are many theories to this region of space but so far, and we know that this is what a black hole is. It is where anything no matter how big or small (actually, its mass can’t be like 10 times the mass of the black hole) that could get sucked into the black hole and incinerate in the hole forever and ever. This leads to the question, what is inside a black hole?
First of all, the process of getting sucked into the black hole is simple, just like getting sucked into a vacuum cleaner. The only thing is that whenever something gets caught in the gravitational pull of a black hole, it tends to stretch up all the cells and body parts of the stuff off matter. The first thing you would feel when you are caught in the gravitational pull is nothing basically, but when you get closer and closer to the black hole, the real event happens. Your body starts to stretch into this “spaghetti form” what scientists say. It is literally when your body stretches out like a noodle, you could be about a mile long or something anyway, and that is how you would get to the black hole. The weirdest part is that our bodies can take this pressure and never break, but one thing is for sure our bodies cannot answer to the stretch and it would become too uncomfortable until the organs and all working things in the body will eventually die out, there for, we as well.  When we get to the black hole the only thing we could see is the rest of space from the horizon line or the line of singularity. Then we get sucked into the black holes and scientists are not totally sure if that is the end of time or that there is an incinerator at the very end of the black hole that incinerates absolutely anything. The incinerator is our best theory so far.
So now what is the line of singularity? The line of singularity is the event horizon of the black hole; it is where space and time meet total darkness. It is exactly the edges of the black hole and is the crossing point of everything in the universe, once you cross that line and into the black hole, there is no way out, and if you think about it, if you get into the black holes gravitational pull; you won’t get out there either. That is what the line of singularity truly is.
So that is everything on the well known but mysterious and invisible death that lurks in space called the black hole. There is so much more that scientists are figuring out each day and we hope to know more about them in the near future. That is the end of my presentation.
