The Infinity Dream

December 15, 2010
Location: Milwaukee Art Museum
Description: walking into the Chamber

For years, I have been waiting to see what it was like. They said that you will be breathless, you can't take you eyes out of it. That it was unimaginable. In the 1960's it was a predominant hit, you couldn't miss it. It was so popular and so well known, it was suddenly suppressed in a short period of time. It disappeared like dust. Since the 20th century came, we moved on to greater things, like cell phones and hybrid cars. It was an immense moment in history and also a gloomy time for many people on the attacks. We don't care about it anymore, but I, I do. I am a detective, working for the private service , I don't know what my operation is, but whatever it is, it has something to do with that thing, the Infinity Chamber, the Chamber of Dreams.

Dreams. That was the key word. Something had to do with all this commotion. 2 weeks ago, One man was found in a serious coma in the Chamber, we don't know what happened to him, but he was a aesthetician, a person who studies the art. He was doing some research all around the museum, but when he got to the Infinity Chamber. He stepped inside, and there was something in there, something that doesn't like people, a murderer I would say. The mans name was Dr. Julius. He died just yesterday, it happened unexpectedly, just like that. I know something is not right, something does not want us to go in the Infinity Chamber. And I am going to find out what.

Analysis of Speak

(This is a solid character analysis of speak, it is not to be mistaken by an essay or short story. This is an edited version of a response.)

I'm going to be choosing Melinda today as the main character of my character analysis. So Melinda is basically one of those people you could get along to just fine, until when she called the cops when she was at her late night high school party. She was a pretty popular and good working kid, but after that incident, she has turned into what you could say an "indirect" person, she has no friends now, no life.

She sits alone in every class and she doesn't know why she deserved this type of punishment where none of her friends talk to her. It is a matter of what her choice is if she can survive the rest of high school with this mayhem, but can fix it, or she can't take it anymore and have bad, maybe even suicidal thoughts. I think Melinda is a dynamic person, throughout her life she was a nice, energetic child that I think everyone was proud of. Now she is living high school like it is her worst nightmare, and I mean that literally. You know that she was once a happy and passionate girl with all of her friends at her side. Now she is this depressed girl who everyone in the whole school hates, that isn't bad or anything, actually, it was never supposed to happen in the first place.

This is a problem that you have to deal with by yourself or take your friends help. I'm not saying parents because if you read the book, you see that Melinda's parents are probably having an affair and are planning to get divorced. I thin the parents aren't the best people to handle this situation with her and I think that she can do better than that. So, know it ends like this, she has no friends, she has been in the state of static for the rest of her life? The only person and grade she could probably count on is Art? Which the school board might take out because the teacher, Mr. Freeman is giving to many A's?

This is a very in dept report on Melinda and I hope you know her personality and her life in the high school right now, this is how she really is in the book. A depressed girl who had her life destroyed and abandoned. This is Melinda's character analysis, and you might think that she isn't going to get anywhere in life, but maybe, maybe some miracle could happen to her. Maybe everything could change.....

CoD: Black Ops Review

A Requested Review
Yes! I cannot believe it! The best game of the year is finally here! Call of duty: Black Ops! We all know that Call of duty was one of the best series in video gaming history and it will still be making games that always surprise us. Treyarch has once again pushed the line on FPS's. With it's award winning World at War, it has taken over the Call of Duty franchise and mad it even better. To it's ridiculously deep campaign stories that break the chains, all the way to the most popular multi player action you will ever see in this world. Call of Duty: Black Ops is here to deliver the best of the best. I'm here to show you why Call of Duty: Black Ops pays off.

We first start at the single player overview. We leave out "Soap" McTavish, Captain Price and the rest of the Modern Warfare 2 gang to the all new Black Ops class. The Single player is a huge blast and is so far the best Call of Duty experience ever. The amazing story, breathtaking visuals and scenery and the great voice acting by the best actors out there, you will be truly amazed! The story takes place in a Interrogation room where you play as a solder named Alex Mason. You are begin Interrogated by 2 unknown people who seem to have followed you everywhere from the beginning. Alex is asked a bunch of questions and how you play the story is the newest type of layout. Instead of going into the future, you play as Alex and his past battles that lead up to the great Nova 6 Tactical World Domination plan. You play aside with all new COD characters like Captain Woods and Sgt.Reznov. Alex will take you from the beginning, all the way to the end in this heart pounding single player from the base camps of the Soviet Union all the way to the abundant, lush jungles of Vietnam. You will not be disappointed.

Now to the best part of the game. The award winning and deeply addicting multi player online portion of this game is what it does best. The sound is awesome, the weapons and perks are incredible and never get old. You can think of more than a 1000 different ways to customize your personal player as you take on the enemy. The newest addition to this game is the crazy amount of customization. Black Ops has right now, the best and most customization in any game. It looks so awesome to put on some face paint and put your clan tag on your weapons. There is just so much to do. Other things in the expanded multi player world of Black Ops is the new game modes like Wager Matches where you are gambling to be in the top 3 in these adrenaline pounding free-for-all games. Another special bonus feature that Treyarch put into Call of Duty Black Ops is the another new mode call Combat Training. Combat training is simply where you play multi player games, but only against computer AI's It is the best way to warm up your skills before hitting the big online multi player. The last thing that was added to Black Ops which people love so much is the all new theater mode. Theater mode is simply any game you play online, you can record and play it back to see how you did. You can send it to your friends or post it on the Community Playlists where people can watch and rate. This is truly the best multi player and single player experience.

Trust me it is totally worth it. if you don't believe me, the Gaming Industries have rated it a solid 9 out of 10 which is excellent. Don't believe me again? Then go check it out. Well guys, thank for listening, and don't think I'm a big geek and all because this might be the only game review I ever might be doing. So hope you enjoyed it and i'll see you guys back on the battlefield!

*If I get more than 8 comments on this piece, I will make a full review on the most addicting Nazi Zombies for Black Ops! So please read and comment!*

Patriotism in My Words

Patriotism, what does this word in general mean? Well, to me it really means supporting your country and what you live for. In America, you think of patriotism as supporting our troops and helping them in the countries that they fight for us. War is a big part of the patriotism and we should pray and bless the soldiers that go into battle each day. We should all pray that the war will stop and that the world will be healthy again. To do that we need a lot of patriotism and courage from our fellow people, without them, the world would never be the same.

Patriotism still matters because everyone should be great full for their country and supporting the world. In my words, patriotism really means supporting and taking care of our world. It doesn't matter where you are from. The place that you care about and take care of resemble patriotism. Anything that you do to help the environment and surroundings around you is even considered patriotism. Doing something good for others is patriotism. Most people do have patriotism but they just don't know it. Then they are some people who really don't care about and probably the most amazing thing (in my thoughts) is that most people don't know what patriotism is and that they don't really do it that often. It is nice to help out your surroundings and make they world a better place. Yes, I think patriotism is a big thing, but know one really cares about it. That is the problem with it and we should start to get more aware of it and help the people understand it to bring patriotism back.

So we conclude that patriotism is a big thing in any place around the world, in any country and that we should always remember to take part in it in our lives. So does everyone have patriotism? No, and that is okay, but we should start getting the world and nations aware of this before something bad happens in the world, like a famine or another world war. This would not be good and that means we are doing a bad job to hold all this misery back. Patriotism helps prevent this and helps people in need. I think our world is getting a little, little bit better each year. Now some of you people out there don't agree, but it is time to do more to our world and the people that live in it. It's time we show them that we care and want to support it. We want to show our patriotism to it. It is all about the love and devotion that makes patriotism a good thing to remember.

The HYBRID HEAVENS Intro (Draft)

THE HYBRID HEAVENS™ INTRO

When we were all young, little children, we use to all love magic. The origin of something disappearing made our eyes widen, but that was not the point. What we really wanted was to see it come back. We all want to see the white dove vanish, and come back out of our ears. That was the best part…how could I ever forget? That weekend, when I went to my first magic show I learned the steps into the greatest magic the world has seen. The first part is called the Act, when the magician shows off the object being disappeared. He will call up volunteers to confirm there is no trick. The second step is called the Pledge, were the magician makes the object disappear, but the act is not final yet. He gives time for the audience to gaze and be astonished. Now the last part, to complete the act is called the Prestige, and this, this is the hardest part. The object is to make yourself come back. The last trick I saw that dark, cloudy day was the water bowl escape, one of the hardest escapes since the time of the great Houdini. The Act went perfect, the Pledge went perfect, but the Prestige…was not complete. Have you ever wondered, what happened behind that curtain, when the magician is taking too long to reveal himself? That is when the backstage tech crew start to scream, then the adrenaline really pumps up. When you see the curtains rise and a man drowning in a cage full of water, you cannot move. Your surroundings become quiet and the only thing you can hear are the screams. You stay there, glued to your seat in horror. And that is when the stage goes black. How would you feel, when your dad’s closest friend died from drowning? You think it was an accident, that something went wrong. That is what I thought; a simple misstep in the process. That was when I was only 6 years old, but it wasn’t that, it was a murder, a pure cold-blooded murder, to put the audience in despair, to scare and to frighten them. There is someone out there that someone else does not like, you might bully, make fun and torture that person, may be forget about it, but a murder is a whole other story. It feels different when a friend dies. It’s not like when your pets dies, you cry some and then forget that it all happened but still remember it. The dread haunts you forever. You won’t know what it feels like because it might have never happened to you, but the real case is how, who would do this and why? That is the power of dark magic. Don’t look back, because you don’t want to know what is back there. Something that will never let you go until you come to your end.

Mr.B's: Lego Origins

First of all, this is all about one of my most favorite hobbies or things to do. I know it might sound a little bit funny and all, but I like building with Lego's. Yes, me, a eight grader likes playing with little baby pieces of plastic. Lego's are pretty childish, but you wouldn't believe how many adults I know that like Lego's. I mean, they are just pieces of plastic, but when joined and put together make anything you dream of and that is why I thought they were the most creative toys ever. And what do you know? They still are and they will never get old. Just imagine, if you had a 100 regular Lego pieces in front of you. Think of all the possibilities. Think of all the stuff you can make, and that is why with Lego's, there are no boundaries for creativity. For the next paragraphs, I will tell you and explain as thoughroly as I can to tell you what I do with my Lego's and if I really do like them in the inside….or not. So sit back and enjoy.
In the beginning, when I first heard about Lego's I thought they were just a new type of toy, same and boring like the others. So I really didn't know what they really where. Then I saw those cool Lego Star Wars pictures at the mall, they looked sweet. I decided, that they were okay looking and that I needed to try one out. After about a week, I forgot about all of those Lego's, I mean. I didn't even know that they were even existing. So that leads me all the way to my 7th birthday and that was the day I was hooked on. My best friend at my old school, Robert gave me this awesome Lego Star Wars set. It had those cool Jedi dudes and that beastly robot R2-something. Anyway, I was really excited. All the way until I got home, opened the box, and started working on it. Now I wasn't dumb that time, but the set was like ages 8-12, It was a little, confusing, no, wait, it was really confusing! The first page I couldn't even figure out where they go! So I dumped everything except for that shiny, small and metallic "light saber" that was included in the set. And the pieces. Those were the only things I kept in remembrance of the worst toy ever.
So, yes, that was my early childhood. I was a really evil kid. (no I'm just kidding)I was actually really disappointed in myself, because at first I thought they did something wrong. But then it actually turned out to be me. The really bad thing was that I got so angry that I actually threw away the instructions to build the set because they were awful. Now I was really an angry kid. Anyway, lets get on a little bit farther in my life. In the meantime between the 3 years, I started playing with my friends more and got into more school-based activities. I forgot about Lego's again, and I really think I wanted to forget about them this time!
Now these were the really good years when I had the most fun, but since I moved to Pewaukee, that means school and I didn't know anyone in my school yet until I met all of my future friends. I found out that they were actually big Lego fans, so without any questions I became their friends and learned their interests and hobbies. I was really excited that I finally met someone who actually liked Lego's, and a lot of them! So I turned my life a little bit more faster, you see, I started collecting more Lego's and actually getting a fair amount of play time with them. The first two years went very smoothly and I mean it was way better than doing anything else and I saw myself facing middle school. It was a big thing for me but I knew that I couldn't give up. One of the things I participated in the school was to tutor a kid named Christian Memmo. He was knew this year and the teachers picked me because I had a very good reports and comments from my past teachers how Bijoy is a "wonderful student". So I knew that middle school was going to be hard and I put aside the Lego's for next year. Finally, it was summer vacation and I knew I wasn't going to go on some fancy trip or anything so I decided to get back to the Lego's and create new things that I could show my friends. As the day s went on, I found myself only a day from eight grade. I was a little disappointed at first because I wanted vacation to be a bit longer, and that it was going to be even a bigger challenge than seventh grade and I have to give it full effort to keep up with the class. Lego's were again pushed aside, but know since eight grade has been going smoother that I expected, I decided why not have a break and play with Lego's in the free time and to tell you the truth, it was fun. I was really relived and it felt good to have time with something you put aside for years. No right here in this present time while I'm writing this essay I fell like I still care about those Lego's and how important they really are. My goal for all of this is to take some kid who doesn't know anything and plays video games the whole time to introduce him to Lego's. I hope it changes his way of playing and his free time. This is far by the best years I had ever had.
So, that was my whole story, It is really weird how the story really changes and progresses onward like that when there are times you see me throwing the Lego pieces and there are times I'm just having so much fun, but the real question is do I like them or do I not. The answer is I do like them, and I take back everything I said bad about them, you see, Lego's I think are a creative and smart way to go and have some fun time. I mean, I never, ever use to sit home and play video games. I mean they are so fun for me and you actually lean some engineering and designing when you work with them, you actually feel like you are using your time wisely rather than slumped up in the couch, playing some dumb, violent video game, and to be honest, I am becoming one of those people. The really good thing is that I haven’t lost my love of the Lego's. This is why I encourage everyone to try one out. Go to any toy store and get one. Build it and have fun with it. I liked it a lot and maybe you will too. Thanks for listening to my review and I hope you guys learned my side of life.

Countdown to the LAST DAYS ON EARTH

Part 1/7
Have you ever thought of the end of the world? Or do you just care to much about yourself and other people. Since we are drawing near to all this legends and rumors that the end of the world is here like 2012 and Armageddon. People are smart enough to know that it cannot possibly happen, but can it? Not really 2012 when the Earth would collapse but from the skies above. Like the day we get hit by an asteroid or a nuclear war? I am going to follow you in the countdown to the seven sources that can destroy our world from the most unlikely, to the most immanent. And make it into the death planet that never was.

7. GAMMA-RAY BURST: The death of a star part 1/2

We all thought space was the coolest place to be, that when we grew up, we all wanted to be astronauts. You know; go in space and walk on the moon, see the stars. Well, everyone knows that space can be a dangerous place, because their is no air and oxygen to breath, but people are missing the real point. The universe is a very violent place. We all heard about the Big Bang theory and that it was the biggest explosion in the universes history. It literally created the whole universe. Now, what if you were told that those explosions, that big still happen today? How freaked out would you be? How about I tell you that the closest star to our world is about 4.7 light years away and is called Alpha Centauri. What if I tell you that this star has a big, big surprise for us.

Alpha Centauri has been alive for more than a couple of billion years. Yes it is a very old star and people will think what is so bad about that. it's not about how far away it is, it's about what the power of the star is. you see when stars are at their old age. You see the death of a star goes like this: it is born, then it grows and it dies depending on the mass of the star. The mass of Alpha Centauri is somewhere 3 times the mass of the sun and that means, it's is going to have a very catastrophic death. You see, a star that big would probably have it's fate like this: It starts its ending as a Red Super giant, then it explodes and causes the supernova. Now the gamma-ray burst (GRB) is the intense radiation from the beams and energy from the supernova that are released. A GRB can stretch as far as 8.2 light years away. It would knock out anything in its path and leave a road of destruction. So what if the scientests and the news tells you that today Alpha Centauri exploded? Well, don't panic then, it will take about a decade for us to actually witness the affect. We couldn't see it from earth or anything. All we could see is through a telescope, a bright light not that very big at all. So, if you just wait for a while may be 10-15 years or longer, you would see the result in the explosion of the GRB. That it would make a devastating blast of radiation that could burn our planet like a piece of toast. Temperature would be rising up to the highest temperatures in the history of the earth. They are the hottest, brightest thing you will ever see in your life. It's as big as an explosion could get. Don't dream about an atomic bomb. Think billions times that.

So what if all of this really happened? Well, it doesn't matter what it looks like because you wouldn't see anything except for a gleam of light that would blind your eyes. The first thing it would do if it had contact with the earth is that it would cut through the ozone layer. If you think that's okay, think again. The ozone layer is like our shield. It protects us from all that radtiation we get from the sun and all those harmful lights. So this GRB will take down the earth's ozone layer in less than 5 seconds. Once we lost the ozone layer, we are officially doomed, our protection; defenses are all wiped out. The second step: Since it cut through the ozone layer, it will wipe out all the other atmospheres protecting the earth to get to us. In about milliseconds it would reach about sky level and burn the whole face of the earth in about a couple of hours. First you might think it was a little high temperature and a light tan. Then it becomes gradually hotter and brighter. That is when you start to panic. After it breaks through. It would make a devastating force and wipe out absolutely anything on the surface and about anything else underneath in about 30 days. So there is pretty much there is no escape at all. Only if you could dig a hole deep enough, and as fast as you can. All creatures and plants would die because of the radiation and we would soon die because the radiation caused by the GRB would stop all our intestines our lungs from working so we could not digest or eat anything. The only animals that might survive are the tiny micro probes that live deep under earth's surface. So, there still would be life on earth but the thing is, if we do repopulate the earth again like we did in the past, it would not be us who are the leaders. It would be bacteria who would rule the world.

That is the power of a Gamma Ray Burst. We have seen how it is created all the way to its end. The biggest explosion in the world are still yet to be studied more. You have witnessed what would happen if one struck our own planet and the result of chaos. Now we move on to part 2 of the death of a star. Something so large and invisible that only recently scientist have figured out what it could do to earth. Something so powerful that even light cannot escape...

***Stay tuned on my blog for part 2 of the death of a star coming soon***
